If you're looking for a place to set your food that also provides a place to sit down in front of your food so that you can eat it, I think you're making the right choice by considering this set. The bench is nice. Too nice. I refuse to use it. It just sits against the wall for me to admire. I dust it regularly. One time my mother was visiting and she tried sitting on it. I won't go into detail about what happened but we're not on speaking terms anymore. If I may be so bold as to make a recommendation, try eating a burrito at this table. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

This is my first time buying furniture for a house, and buying it online. I couldn't be more pleased. This dining set is perfect for me. I love the bench! The set arrived on time and complete. NO parts were missing or defective. (I was impressed!) Seems like good quality at a nice price. I am a 24 year old woman and I put it together myself with no help in a little over an hour, so assembly wasn't too bad neither. Great product. Would recommend to others. 

I just got my table today and promptly put it together myself. I only needed 2 chairs and the bench so I didn't assemble one of the chairs. Based on other reviews I was bracing myself for a damaged table or missing pieces, maligned privileged holes etc but I had none of those issues. This thing is pretty damned good quality, heavy duty, not cheaply made for the price. And it is beautiful to look at. It is just big enough to put in the space I needed in my apartment (plenty big for my needs) and the bench was actually longer than I expected. Two people can sit comfortably on it. Overall an awesome buy for the price. I'm so glad I purchased it. Fits my needs perfectly.
